Her Quest: A 12-Week NDIS-Funded Women's Mentoring Program on the Sunshine Coast

June 26, 20263 min read

Women living with disability on the Sunshine Coast have been asking for something different. Not another service. Not another program that logs hours and doesn't really move the needle. Something built around real connection, real mentorship, and the kind of growth that changes how a woman sees herself and what she believes is possible.

That something is Her Quest.

What is Her Quest?

Her Quest is a 12-week women's mentoring program developed by Quest Collective, a disability support organisation providing NDIS-funded supports across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

The program runs every Monday from 1-5pm, starting 13 July 2026, on the Sunshine Coast. It's delivered in a small group format, led by female mentors, and is NDIS-funded for eligible participants through Core or Capacity Building budgets.

The Six Pillars of Her Quest

Her Quest is built on the same Six Pillars framework that anchors all of Quest Collective's mentoring programs, reshaped specifically for women.

Belonging (Weeks 1 to 3): The first phase is about arriving and finding your people. Women settle into the group, build trust, and begin to feel genuinely seen.

Movement (Weeks 4 to 6): Momentum builds. Participants start to believe in what's possible and take action toward their goals.

Meaning (Weeks 7 to 9): Skills, independence, and identity. Women discover what matters to them and build the practical capabilities to pursue it.

Mindset (ongoing): A thread throughout the whole journey. Shifting the inner voice. Building confidence. Learning to see yourself clearly.

Mastery (Weeks 10 to 12): The pieces come together. Women step into a stronger version of themselves.

Mission (Week 12 and beyond): Vision and celebration. What comes next, and who you're becoming.

Who is Her Quest for?

Her Quest is designed for women with disability who are ready for something more than a standard support service. It's a strong fit for women who:

  • Are looking for community and genuine peer connection, not just a service that shows up and leaves.

  • Want to build confidence, skills, and friendships that carry into every other area of life.

  • Are ready to claim a bigger life and believe that something different is possible.

  • Have an NDIS plan and want to use their supports in a way that actually creates change.

How Does NDIS Funding Work for Her Quest?

Her Quest is NDIS-funded for eligible participants. Funding can typically be drawn from Core Supports or Capacity Building budgets, depending on the participant's plan and goals.

The first step is a Meet and Greet call with Bek. This is a short, no-pressure conversation to talk through participant goals, suitability, and which funding line applies. If Her Quest is the right fit, we confirm the spot and coordinate the service agreement with the participant's support coordinator.

How to Register for Her Quest?

Her Quest launches 13 July 2026. Spots are limited, and the group is kept small by design.

To reserve a spot or refer a participant, the first step is to book a Meet and Greet call with Bek at questcollective.org/her-quest or by emailing [email protected].

For support coordinators: a referral flyer with program details is available on request. Reach out directly and we'll send it through.

A Note from Bek

'Her Quest exists because the women in our community asked for it. Same heart, same framework, designed entirely for them.'
